Blankets for the triplets

I think I mentioned in a previous post that my niece is expecting triplets. Hectic, right? Luckily in keeping with my current stash busting I had a lot of Cuddly/Baby Soft in the stash. AND it fits in with the colours she likes! Whooohooo!

Baby boy #1's blanky is finished, baby boy #2's blanky is 99% finished. It still needs about 5 rows and a border.

For the little girl I've decided to go with blocks. Granny circles in a square. I think it's so feminine and cute, but I'm still keeping to the prevalent grey theme.

I reckon I need around 20 - 25 more squares to go. The Cuddly/Baby Soft yarn is unbelievably soft and luxurious and have definitely become one of my favourite yarns to work with.

I just love how the circle gently flows into the square. Can't wait to see what it'll look like finished!

Happy hooking,
Bxx

  2. I love the greys. Did you use the My Picot Open Work Lace patterns for the boys' blankets, Brenda? I wish the expectend mum and dad all the best with the babies. Safe last part of pregnancy, safe delivery.

    1. Hi Gerlene, for the grey & turquoise I used pattern 178 from Linda P Schapper's book - The Complete Book of Crochet Stitch Designs: 500 Classic & Original Patterns. The yellow and grey was just a simple 10 rows of granny stripes, 2 rows of dc.
